Module three Unit 2 Where’s the library?
教材分析:The topic of this unit is to talk about our new school using “Where’s the …?” and “there be” sentence pattern to talk about our new school.
(一)   教学目标
1、 To understand we can use “Where’s the library? It’s next to the …”to talk about our new school
    2、To learn the use of “there be” sentence pattern.
    3、Can talk about our new school freely
(二)、常识与能力
1、 To learn the following vocabulary---gym, science, lab, in front of, next to, behind
2、 To learn the following structure: “Where’s the …?” and “there be”
3、 Can use the structure to talk about our new school in pairs
(三)学习策略
自主学习:利用图片联想词汇
合作学习:能够两人一组自由谈论大家的新学校,形成一个合作学习的氛围

1.Warming up
Point to some classroom things and show some pictures of some school things (blackboard, desk, computer, dictionary,classroom,library,office,science lab and dinning hall)
 
 
Try to name the things and the buildings in English.(采用抢答的方式)
2.In put
1.       Do you know any other school buildings? Can you write them down? Make a word map.
2.       What do you do in them ? Ask several students to answer.
1.       Write down the words about school buildings as many as possible, then choose out the best one in groups.

1.Can you match the pictures and the places.
2.Who is behind you? Can you tell me?
3. Play the tape and ask the students to listen and answer two questions.

4. Ask the students to read the passage one in activity two.

6. Tell your partner the position around you.
 
 
1.       Do activity one. Then check the answers.
2.       Answer the question according to the true life.
3.       Listen carefully and try to find the answers to the two questions

1.       Ask students to listen to Betty’s homework and write the names of the places.
2.       Work in pairs. Talk about your new school according to activity three.

4.       Ask students to answer these questions about their new school.
1.Listen to the tape and write the names of the places.
 
2.Talk new school with partners. Then show the conversations to the groups and choose the best pair to show to the class.
 
3.       Do activity 5 then read in pairs
4.       Answer the questions and then talk about the newschool in groups.

教学反思
本节课我的设计思路是通过教室内的物品和图片复习上一节课的单词,进而过渡到本节课有关学校建筑物的新词汇,然后鼓励学生写出更多的相关词汇并制作一张单词地图。学生先听录音中的位置关系再谈论课本上的位置关系及他们自己的位置关系和学校建筑物之间的位置关系,任务层层递进、由易到难,逐步练习表示位置关系的介词和本节课的重点句型,从而达到运用语言的目的。学生自我总结后教师给予适当点拨、归纳,后自我反思找出问题,解决问题。
