英语七年级(下)第四单元第一课时教学设计
【教学目标】
1. 常识目标
(1)  本课要求学生掌握以下词汇:
职业名词: actor, shop assistant, doctor, reporter, policeman, policewoman, waiter, bank clerk, nurse,
扩充词汇:actress,sales clerk, waitress, accountant, 以及它们的复数
 (2) 语言结构: 询问职业
(a)  —What do you/they do?  I’m an actor /We are / They are actors .
—What do you / they want to be?  I / They / We want to be a waiter .
(b)  —What does he/she do? He /she is an actor
    —What does he/she want to be? He/She wants to be a doctor.
2. 能力目标
(1)    能运用一般现在时各种形式,询问人物身份和职业梦想;
(2)    能在日常生活中适当运用此句型。
3. 学习策略
通过本课的学习, 能根椐人物衣着、工作地点, 确认人物职业
4. 情感态度
通过本课任务型活动,加深同学间互相了解,促进同学间友好相处,同时激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情,树立远大的职业理想,从现在开始,抓紧每一天。
No matter what you want to do in the future, you must do the job you are doing now well. Try your best to do something for the people.
5. 学问意识
了解西方人择业观念:只选对的,不选薪水高的,先就业再择业。从而改变我国大学生“一次择业定终身”观念,缓解目前择业难状况。
【教学方法】
1. 教法分析
(1)  创建真实(半真实)的语言环境,引导学生在玩与做中学语言,在学习新的语言常识后,创造性地运用语言。
(2)  开展多种类型的任务活动,提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究性学习。
2. 学法分析
根据初一学生对新职业的好奇心理,提供各种职业环境,让他们在半真实的环境中, 运用合作交流,互相探究,竟猜游戏等多种学习方法,促进同学间互相了解,为学生创建展示舞台,注重赏识教育和激励措施。

【教学过程】
 Step1  Pre-tasks
1.   Warming-up:
Appreciate an English song “B What U Wana B”, get Ss to sing along with it.
2.      Lead in: (P1)
Get Ss to raise some jobs they heard in the song, then get them to raise more jobs they know. Share the jobs they know around the whole class.
3.  Presentation:(P2-12)
Show 22 pictures and learn these words: actor, actress, shop assistant, sales clerk, doctor, nurse, reporter, player, policeman, policewoman, waiter, waitress, bank clerk, student, singer, dancer, worker, teacher, runner, swimmer, bank clerk, cook, farmer, accountant.
4. Summary: (P13,14)
   Lead the Ss to sum up the way of forming words from v. to n. Present Ss to summaries.
5. Do  Section A 1ab.Then check the answers.(P15,16)
【课堂实录】利用歌曲倒入正课,学生积极性极大提高。学生通过预习,很容易找出日常生活中的职业, 每人说一个职业,全班可共享50多种职业,达到了资源共享,互相促进的目的。同时老师也可学到自己不会说的职业名词,达到了教学相长的目的。.紧接着让学生仔细观察CAI课件展示的不同职业,学习22个职业名词。同时学生要仔细观察构词法,从而探究性地找到规律,在老师的引领下,总结出这些名词的构词规律,有利于记忆,然后做1a配对练习。培养了学生的观察、思维能力,学生眼、耳、脑并用,激发了学习潜能。在这一活动中,教师是活动的引导者,学生是活动的主体。
Step2  While—tasks
1. Learn the target language: What does he/she do ? He/She is a(an)….
    After listening to the tape in 1b, get Ss to speak out how to ask about jobs in the conversations. Then present the patterns on the Bb.
2. Let students practice these patterns in pairs according to the CAI.(P17)
3. Let students practice the pattern: What do they do? They are….(P18)
Step3  Post-task
 TaskⅠ: Cut the class in three teams. In each team 2 students must come to the front to answer the questions they choose on the screen. Other members in each group should cheer for them and support them, help them if possible. (3 small tasks)
【课堂实录】通过三个微型活动让同学们从不同角度练习目标语言,调动了全班学生的积极性,把所学的语言应用于交际,使他们感到学习语言,完成任务的成就感。通过幸运52的猜职业游戏,给影片配音及在影片与歌曲中记住所涉及职业这三项游戏活动,锻炼了学生的观察力,协作精神,集体荣誉感,同时让学生在完成任务的同时,学会了目标语。
Step 4  While-tasks
1. Learn the target language: What do you/ does she want to be? I want / She wants to be an actor.
Tell Ss: Today I invite two persons to out class. Can you guess who they are?
After they guess several times, show them the picture of the teacher and her son. And ask
What do they do? I am a teacher. What do you want to be? I want to be a policewoman.
What does he do? He is a student. What does he want to be? He wants to be a soldier.
Get Ss to learn the sentence patterns. (P23)

Step 5  Post-task
TaskⅡ Make a survey(P27)
    Get Ss to make a survey about their dream jobs, using the sentence pattern: what do you want to be? And report like this: In my group, I want to be…, Tom wants to be…
【课堂实录】通过老师和儿子照片的引入,使学生对他们的职业梦想极感兴趣,引入What does he want to be? He wants to be a soldier.合情合景,引入新语言真实、自然。由于是自己的老师和起儿子,学生的兴奋点又一次被点燃,对新语言常识的输入无疑又注入了新的力量和内趋力,这样学习的效果更佳。而后2ab 的巩固,从听力训练入手,进一步巩固了目标语,也为下一步任务的胜利完成做了铺垫。
TaskⅢ Talk about your dream job.(P29)
     Get Ss to make an interview about the dream jobs.
Step 6 Draw a conclusion (grammar focus)
Teacher says: I’m very glad to know all your dreams. No matter what you want to do in the future, you must do the job which is good for the people. Study hard, then your dreams will come true.
【课堂实录】利用教材上语法聚焦部分总结本课内容,继而把所学内容延伸到生活,教育学生实现自己理想,趁现在努力学习,起到了很好的教育作用。
Step7 Do some exercises
【课堂实录】本部分是对常识点巩固练习,从词汇到句子,由浅入深,又紧扣所学常识点,学生做得开心,又复习了语言常识,使这节课的教学内容更加充实。

【教学反思】本节课内容是学习职业,及学生对将来的职业梦想,非常接近学生实际。本人充分利用了多媒体的优势,把“想法”通过大量的动态图片和真实的情景进行展示,让学生在活动中体会语言含义,易于理解,易于实践。通过学生的参与,使之感受生活和体验生活的无穷乐趣。各项活动的开展有益于语言的运用,培养学生的职业情操以及协作精神,促进学习的积极性。
   但在教学中仍存在不少要改进之处,如:在做听力活动中,由于朗读速度快,部分学生跟不上;在表演对话,合作交流时,有的学生害羞,语言不流畅,此时教师应大量去鼓劲,去充分调动学生积极性;课堂容量稍大,教师在时间的把握上略显匆忙,学生自我反馈的时间不足。以上问题将会在未来的教育教学中改进。
